Week 2

We made our way from one end of Great Abaco Island to the other, bouncing off a few of the out islands along the way, with great fun and interesting people everywhere we went!

One of our favorite tiki bars, run by a retired military man, Jerry!  Offered FREE phone calls, via a Magic Jack!  Heck of a way to get people to come and drink at your bar!

Captain Jacks, Hopetown, Elbow Cay

Spectacular view of the Lady Triana at anchor, from 90 feet up!

On to Little Harbor, south end of Great Abaco.  The beaches sure are crowded down here!

Found an old deserted lighthouse, we think.  Now there's just a metal pole with a blinking light.

Definitely, one particular harbor that we will not soon forget!  We all voted it as one of our favorites.

The Swedish Boy's Choir serenaded me for my birthday.

Check out the video on You-Tube:

Don't know what they said, but I heard my name in there somewhere!

We had this big fat tuna (that is, the fish) for dinner!

Now, that's FRESH sushi!

Nice one, bonita maybe?  But we didn't keep it.

Besides, since her surgery, Mona can't eat much at one sitting!

We hooked two of these at the same time!  This one was Sunday night's dinner!

So, back in the good old U S of A, we got a great sunset in the bay at Card Sound.

And, like the last three weeks, it was PRICELESS!!!!

Lady tri floating in the sunset, Great Guana Cay.

The first real lighthouse we have seen, Hope Town, Elbow Cay.  The only mechanically operated lighthouse left in the western hemisphere, supposedly.   Where we spent Father's Day.

What an incredible place to spend a birthday!  How lucky can a girl get?

We left our mark on Pete's Pub!

This is Hole-in-the-Wall lighthouse, our last look at Great Abaco.  If you look all the way down the shoreline on the right, you can actually see the hole in it!  There is absolutely nothing else there but the light.  Sounds like a perfect place for a tiki bar to me!

Nothing at Chub Key, but a lousy anchorage and a bag of ice.

We actually did get to sail!  The wind was behind us most of the way back across the gulf stream.

Who let her drive?

Didn't keep this one either.  But Bob had fun pulling him in.

Our last Bahamas' sunset.  Saturday night at Riding Rocks (south end of the Bimini Island chain).
