If you haven't read it yet, check out my story about our trip from NC to FL.

Hard at Work

We've been hard a work, getting Lady Triana ship-shape.  Tom went up the mast the other day to work on some lighting, and took some fun photos.

Hardly Working

Yesterday (Saturday, 3/14), we got the outboard going on the dingy and took a little trip out into the city, via the waterways.

Our little girl looks pretty big from down here!  Notice it's tipped a little to the port side?  We filled the water tanks on that side, about 180 gallons.  Dropped the water line about 3 inches.

So, we motored for about 30 minutes to visit the Southport Raw Bar.  (Tom's first time via the water!)  It's about a 10 minute drive in the car, but this was a lot more fun.

I've been scraping and sanding, getting ready to do some varnishing.

They didn't have to open the bridge for us this time!

Ever wonder what it looks like from down below?  Pretty much the same as from up above.  Except that it was dark by the time we came back.

We might try this place next time we need to get out for a little while.  They have a dock we can pull up to.
